Here's mine so far

It's not supposed to be unit specific as it's the teams new load out,so i'm a British Airsofter wearing Vegetato.

My team wear Veggie, after Fleckmuster got too hard to get hold of: I bloody love the stuff.

^^ That pic is at our yearly invite only memorial game, when my team were midway between Fleckmuster and Veggie.

We're not normally all fully cam'd up like that, but the game is a memorial game for a team mate who is currently pushing up daisies thanks to pancreatic cancer, so we were all about winning that day :P
I just picked myself up a Veggie UBACS and will be replacing my ACU cut set ( which fades unfortunately quickly) with either a Tacgear set, or a Stalker TDU set, when they get round to it!

I bought my BDUs & other kit from asmc.de & they were resonably priced{akin to Flechtarns price}.Once i compare my BDUs to Dazs i'll be able to confirm if they are the same as Flecktarn are selling.I've built quite a few sources recently but there are 3 main supplier,two in Germany & one in Italy.Once i figure out how to order from the Italian site i'll be able to get smaller bits to finish the load out.
I'm definately altering the length of my PLCE so it cover my belly{rather than diet <_< } I need to see what a Tan CIRAS will look like with the load out & tan boots.It was freezing outside so i didn't want my wife hanging about to long while i posed for pix.
I think that a full team load out looks fantastic & i'll look forwards to operating as a team while fully Vegi Tomatoed out.
Oh i can get the full combat set with pads in vegitato for 100 euros,i will invest.
I've just ordered some OD name tapes & bloods but if anyone has any sources for Vegitato name tapes i'd appreciate the link.

As far as I can tell, there are the only 5 types of Vegetata available
1) the ACU cut set, reasonably priced and easy to get hold of, but fades VERY quickly. The same the world over
2) Tacgear's own stuff, not fully released, costs a fortune, but is extremely nice.
3) Real deal Veggie, unfortunately, the stuff wasn't designed with combat in mind, and doesn't have provision for pads or shoulder pockets/slanted chest pockets.
4) Stalker TDUs, when they finally come out
5) That Combat set, which I've never seen before! WANT!

I'm getting some Vegetato Name tapes made up & i thought i'd post on here to see if there's any interest.They will be Velcro backed but prices haven't fully been worked out yet.I don't expect people to order yet just show interest in what they would like.
This is going to be a on off order as i'm providing the material.The edging & lettering will be brown or black{i prefer Brown}.
What i intend having made up is
Name tapes {with your name/Club or team}
Bloods
Union Flags
For rough prices see www.1800nametape.com}

I have to point out that this venture is not money making.All patches & tapes will be at cost only with money up front{once i've worked it out & nametape provide me with costs} & is only limited by the amount of material i can provide.
Customs fees will be extra but shouldn't be much as i don't anticipate a large order.
Once the order is placed everyone sends me a stamped self addressed Envelope so i can post the patches out{or i deliver them to my team at the next game}
If you are interest note your interest in the thread & then PM me what you think you would like to order.

RT,

Name tapes & Uniion Flags - yes please !

Let me know how much etc when its done and i'll sort the wedge out.

Ed - "Real deal Veggie, unfortunately, the stuff wasn't designed with combat in mind, and doesn't have provision for pads or shoulder pockets/slanted chest pockets."

Agreed, but the trousers are about the best i've used yet - as i wear external knee pads then i'm not too worried. The jacket doesnt stay on long enough (unless its too damned cold)

You got a UBACS Shirt ? You get it from Balf at Baseline ? If so, let us know what its like.

Nah, I got it second hand on ASCUK ( through a mate, there were two for sale, a large and a medium, he had the large). Union flags sounds interesting to me, I'll put it to the team and see what they think :)
The UBACs is alright, but my major gripe is how bright it is! The green in it is a bit TOO green. It'll probably be fine after some washes/dirt, but like hell am I wearing underarmour in this weather!
I'll get some pictures up when I've got a proper bloody house. Everytime it rains the powers goes out in 3/4 of the house :|

You can get a Heavy Winter weight under armour shirt with elbow pads.Of course it doesn't do the wick away as it's designed to keep the heat.You can get the combat set with under armour wickaway shirt & pants both with knee pads.At first i thought the set was by ur-tactical but i noticed the stalker sets use the same pads.

One of the items i intend to buy for 90 Euros is the Gortex foul weather suit from recon company.Of course Italian companies sell the little bits & pieces that i can't seem to find elsewhere so i'm, going to email them after Christmas to open an account & see if they are willing to post to the UK.

As for the Vegetato name tapes,bloods,team names & flag it would be helpful if i get an idea of numbers.Like i said this is going to be a one off order & i'm going to have to assess how much material to provide the company.I'm probably going to put the order in at the end of January.If i can manage it i'm going to over order things like the Flags because i have no doubt people will see them when the order has been delivered & wish they had put an order in.I'm just waiting to hear back from Roy at 1800nametapes to see exactly what can be done & estimate the prices from that.

Wait, what's the point of an undernarmour shirt that doesn't keep you cool: As far as I am aware, that's the ONLY point of them, or you'd just wear a regular shirt.
I'm waiting for someone to do a review on the Stalker TDUs, as I'm not spending 145 quid on some kit that might be atrocious. I did enquire about pre-orders, but I didn't go for it in the end, as I was unsure on the quality of them. I realise now that if I had ordered, I'd still be waiting: He said 6 weeks to wait if I pre ordered, and it's been considerably longer than that, and no sign of 'em.

Like a lot of stuff in airsoft it's about the look.People want to look the part but don't want to freeze.I have a Multicam shirt bought from the Philippenes which,while it was intended as an underarmour shirt it does the opposite of the job it was intended for.I'd read the reviews & knew that,so now i have an under armour shirt for hot & cold weather.

If you are interested there's a few place which do fleece tops for our lovely British weather http://www.recon-com...3417-629-d.html

Anyone wanting to place an order for Vegetato patches have until the end of January as that is when i will place the order.The extra costs of top of buying a patch will be caused by the requirement for me to buy some material,{in this case i'll be buying a Vegetato shirt,cutting into panels & posting it to the US} which will be devided between everyones orders.The more patches people buy the further the expenses are spread.
Unlike the multicam patches 1800nametape made for UK airsofters a while back,Vegetato patches wont be generally available as they wont have anymore cloth.So get them while you can folks,PM me with your patch requirements & numbers & i can compile a list.

I've had some feedback from an Italian friend on FB about the combat set.He reckons it's very comfortable & hard wearing,so'll be ordering a set asap.
After a bit of research,the Chinese copy Vegetato is the same as the real stuff{probably made in the same factory as well but that is speculation}.The stuff that Flecktarn is selling is the same stuff as i bought from Germany but that follows the ACU cut.
