I've noticed that in some of the UKSF pictures in Iraq, they don't seem to have the 15.8" barrel, is there another barrel length for some of their L119A1s?

Edit: Ok I've just realised it's the 10" CQB barrel...

Exciting news from Ares: http://www.aresairsoft.com/coming.html
Both Gimpy and Barret! :w00t:
Knowing Ares I am a little bit worried about quality. But the finish ought to be top notch. I have no idea about quality og Ares gbb series.
The Gimpy is the version with a scope rail, afaik not currently in use by UK forces. But think I read somewhere that batch to be purcased would be this version. Not sure where I read it though (could be Milphotos). Anyway, I`m sure someone will find a way to remove the rail and heatshield.

Pretty sure that's been posted many times before but nothings really come of the guns apart from the gbb m4, but that's been up for a few years now and there only out now, and anyways all those weapons are already for sale with different companys...

mightyjebus, are those Meindls? Looks good -- you should go for some BHI pouches though, IMO.

Nah, I was just borrowing it. It's a good helmet though.

cummerbund? that's actually the pouches connected to the rav vest via molle straps. if you look carefully you will see the pouches sit level with the bottom of the rav. this stops me sticking my elbow up my nose every time i try to change a mag.

The cummerbund is the part that wraps around and zips together, and it should be at this level (notice no velcro showing):

Agreed, it does look really low to me, but whatever works for the user.
Looking good mightyjebus.

Thread tidied. If your going to post your loadouts (And we all DO want to see them :) ) please make sure you post in the correct thread or if you're posting something out of the norm (And something which seems completely out of place for the thread) please at least give an explanation as to why you think it fits in.

Thanks
Mike
