Just wondering how many of us are either in the mob or been in.

I'm ex-RAF, 15 years as a Clerk, served on a couple of Field Squadrons though so has my ass in the grass! Did 2 years out then rejoined the Army. Am in the MPGS (muppet posing as genuine soldier ;)) guarding a certain unit. Its a living, lol.

24 years in the RAF as an Armourer, most of it in EOD. Been to various hot and dry locations, now retired. Back in EOD but in the private sector. Beats working for a living.

Worked mainly on CVRT as the regiment is recce at the moment - good times

United States Army Combat Medic. I find manly things to do with tampons.

Used to play in the UK and still hang around ye olde forums to see what's shaking from time to time.

Negative on the JST at the moment Taffy.

The higher ups at Crab Central aren;t being the most helpful at present. It;s the thought of weapons that putting them off, apparently they could be dangerous!

That said i am in contact with some guys from Air Command looking at the regulations for the safe keeping of RIF's on base at the moment

I'm ex-army for what it's worth. Got trained up long enough to be a bona-fide fully qualified soldier in Int Corps for all of 2 weeks before I got MD'd in training (shattered hip), and that was the end of my army life. Once I could walk again, I got very into airsoft as the forces wouldn't have me (at first) and it was my way of soldiering. Then by the time I got fully better and able to reapply, I had got married, and well, it's a single man's army. I'm working as an armourer for film and TV now. Fun fun fun!

12 years 10 days in the 2nd Battalion Battalion Royal Regiment of Fusiliers. ( An Infantry battalion for the un-initiated)

Lots of exotic locations visited including 2 1/2 years over in N.I when the troubles were ongoing, five tours of Norway in the AMFL role, and all the other usual places. Been in the police now for nearly 15 years and some days I don't half miss it.

Nige.
