Silverman's do a repro sand smock for £49.99 before P&P. The same smock in camo is listed at £79.99.

i've seen a genuine camo ww2 smock for sale at war n peace for around 200 quid but that was a few years ago, i reckon if you can prove its genuine and not a pre aged repro a collector would more than likely give you the same if not more.
also its worth it to remember that the guys in the Bravo Two Zero patrol were all wearing these so you could use it for a 1st gulf war sas loadout.

if its genuine ww2 vintage..you really shouldnt be wearing it for skirmishing in as its too precious these days. If its good order and genuine it is worth selling for between £150-£200 ish (esp if a good size) if you are not a ww2 collector. You can buy the silvermans repros which are excellent if you want a similar smock a gulf war one SF loadout and still have some cash going spare!

To make the collectors sick...i heard they were giving the WW2 dated ones out to workers painting tanks as overalls in 1970's...and accounts for their rarity now!

For reference, the Silverman's repro windproofs are actually pretty poor - the fabric, cut and colours are all wrong. Also on the 'desert' versions they have 2 right-hand sleeves; the left sleeve is a r/h sleeve reversed, with the cuff button resown, but the re-enforcement patch still on what is then the front of the sleeve instead of the rear.

If you can buy a Silverman's very cheaply it might be worth it but personally I'd rather pay more and have something that was correct or at least a lot closer.

Price-wise, £150-£200 is near abouts right for a tan smock, £150-£300 for a camo smock, olive rarely come up so whatever the (foreign) collectors will pay .........................

Im looking for a good quality repro, or a reasonably priced original...but it has to be big as im a great 6foot lump! i have seen the silvermans ones but they dont look great to me!...they just scream ''made in china!''
