Thought i would start one off in here as everyone likes to either show off their work or get idea's from other guns :)

mine is fairly bland just a custom spray job of my L96 i decided to keep the scope and bipod black not sure why but easy covered by some netting etc :)

then i have my M4 that i was just testing the idea of using as a sniper. increased barrel length, tighter spring, scope and bipod. (still more for show than bang and the scope needs to be raised i know this i'm going to put a 4x ACOG on :) )

lets see what you got :)

Shima, I'd appreciate it if you could link those photographs in from a Photobucket account or other free image host. Storage space and bandwidth on our new server are currently at a premium, and your photographs are the largest I've seen so far. Thanks ;)

Here's my TM Gspec. Covered in Realtree camotape, with Jack Pyke LLCS Leaf material to match my leshy suit.

Guard I'm curious, what fps does a .01mm inner barrel that's 480mm in length (assumption there), and a 170 spring give you?

Don't worry you're not in trouble... yet ;). I just know if I put that combination into my Gspec, I'd get something like 600fps...

i tried it at first with the pdi complete hop up set, and it did give over 530 on .2s ,

the only thing i did was remove all the ptfe from the cylinder head

and replaced the pdi hop-rubber with the laxlax one mate and left untouched to bed in and now she firing sweet at 480-490

so im save as many people at sabre force have hinted it being hot so the guys checked and was under 500 .

Fair enough. It seems a shame you've got to use such a strong spring to achieve that level fps. You might find some success by wrapping the hop bucking itself in PTFE tape, in the hopes of preventing air loss within the hop unit?

Though I doubt you'd be able to get many wraps around the barrel given the design of the APS hop unit. Worth a go though.

Anyway, back to the pictures :). Best keep this conversation in the Spring Advice section.

i did have a 150 in it but using the 6.01 barrel wasnt hitting much under the 460 fps ,

so swapped for the 170 and hitting nice shots at long distance ,

i did put the ptfe around all the required places but using the upgraded options will be a very hot gun indeed

im hoping for another rifle to tinker and play with for project after xmas

My baby ( a limited edition OD)
http://i272.photobucket.com/albums/jj188/msang17/Hiends017.jpg

I have taken out all the stock parts and change them with this!
http://i272.photobucket.com/albums/jj188/msang17/Hiends022.jpg

Full PDI Upgrade.
1. PDI Palsonite cylinder set HD
2. PDI V Zero trigger
3. PDI 6.01mm 430mm TB(Opt out for this due to budget restriction)..hehehehe!
4. A couple of Laylax Springs (150 & 170, I have installed the 150 spring)
5. Laylax Spacers
6. Firefly hard hop rubber

With this FPS (I think I got a freak spring, laylax 150 installed) consistent at +/-5 FPS on ICS .2(last one in UK........huhuhuhuhuhuh
http://i272.photobucket.com/albums/jj188/msang17/EJsFunRun108.jpg

Scary I'll downgrade it to 500 FPS on .2 as per UK legal FPS limit for Bolt Actions

PDI have a great smooth cocking, what a great choice!

I hope It'll help you out guys!

I installed everythin' myself.....great compression!

The installation was basically a transplant, but there was one issue the PDI spring guide was too big in diameter in relation to the spring, So what I did was order a laylax spring guide with bearing instead.

At its full glory with G&P M3 Scope/scope mount rings.

Very nice The Keeper of Secrets :) Have you ever hit anyone with it! hehe

TM VSR upgraded with all the laylax gubbins (same setup as Mamba)

Laylax hop rubbers don't seem be as sturdy / reliable as the nine ball hop rubber (though you do need to add to the hop arm with some rubber band to get it to be more aggressive with heavier bbs)

My pro sniper with the usual laylax internals, PDI trigger springs, nineball hop, 130 spring. Thinking about putting a 500mm 96 barrel through the moderator when I get some more money to play with.
