Playing at the Mall the other week, I was feeling all energenic and ran across the main mall pretty quickly for me.

Anyway, my pistol came out of its holster and thanks to the lovely lanyard, it bounced several times and kept doing it until I stopped running!

Long and short of it is that it the hammer would not fully lock back or cycle through at all.

I've since stripped it down and it looks like the hammer has had a bit break off it (see pics). Question is - will this accept WE parts only or any compatible ones? i.e. mainly the hammer?

Sorry, photobucket is being a bit special today, will sort later.

As far as I'm aware...

KJW 1911's are TM clones and WE are similar but not interchangeable. Though i'd await a GBB know it all/whore to confirm it ;)

If I recall correctly TM Hicapa parts are the closest to the WE's as thier 1911's are built of the HiCapa which is a copy of the marui.

Found the thread I was looking for Armourpiercing's metal slide fitting guide

Brilliant, that get's said & my name brought up after the very next post... what will my mother think!http://www.ukairsoftzone.co.uk/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/mellow.gif

The WE single stacker is based on the TM double stacker (or Hi-cappa) so the hammer from a TM/WE/KJ/Bell/BE will fit it just fine be it either model or aftermarket brand.

RSOV have some really nice ones at the moment...

Taffy, the word you were looking for was "Pistophile"...http://www.ukairsoftzone.co.uk/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/wub.gif

bit of a necro post by me but I bought a part labelled as compatible for a Marui HiCapa and it fits perfectly.

Now got to go figure out why one mag now doesn't fit so well in the gun :/ It fit in there fine before and the other mag fits perfectly as well

Do mags expand if left unattended for a few months (left gassed up)?
