A mate of mine that lives in swindon has been meaning to check it out for a while, but every time he does go skirmishing he ends up at the mall instead. I would be interested to hear what they are like as well.

I've been there a couple of times. The site is small (only 6 acres or so), but the games are well-run and there's a good variety of games played there. The site itself is a nice mix of Woodland with some structures thrown in for good measure. The marshals are pretty friendly and good at what they do, and the players seem a decent bunch. I'd certainly go back again as I've had a really good time when I've been there.

I can let you know what I think.

When I've been there turnout has been between 30-40 players, which suits the site perfectly. Any more and t'd be too busy; at that amount you can still be sneaky and outflank people, but won't get lost for an hour searching for other players.

I used to play there and it is about 6 acres of woodland with a fair few structures, run as a dulux fetish site mainly, with airsoft membership growing, usually around 30 (give or take a few) attend most game days. Unfortunatly, sounds like the site is closing on 20th Feb, as the farmer wants the land back, don't know if an alternative location has been sourced yet. :dunno:

That's hugely annoying - they did say they were looking at other venues though, so fingers crossed.

I went to this site on Saturday but only for a half day. Decent enough bunch of people but it is a small site. I found it was lacking in variety but as its only 10 mins from my house was worth it, 30/40 people there and it was good to blow a few cobwebs from my guns.

They are still running but will close anytime soon as they are yet to locate another suitable location.

In summary, a paintball field that airsofters have been let loose on. Good for a quick visit but not somewhere you would want to go every week as it is too small and lack variety..

Ok Andy, I'll have a look.
I'll try to pop over either 3rd or 4th to say hi, won't play as recovering from op,

EXA has a new venue at the old Purton painball site, however Geoff the owner of EXA has a new site lined up near Wooton Basset/Minty.
He is hoping to set up soon, Ill try to up-date this when more info becomes available!!
