Following a recent NATO tasked UKSF mission to disrupt the enemy’s communication lines & that mission’s subsequent failure due to heavy casualties, a helicopter has been dispatched to grid ref 'DELETED' to extract the surviving patrol members.
The extraction of the SF team was on schedule and proceeding as planned returning to friendly airspace when radar contact was lost.
Intel cannot confirm whether the aircraft was shot down or crashed as a result of mechanical failure.
No distress call was received.
A comms satellite has picked up a signal from a TACBE beacon & tracked to grid ref DELETED.
Another extraction team is being despatched & landed outside the area to avoid any possible anti-air assets. The patrol will tab into the area. Inital satellite imagery shows considerable enemy infantry activity already searching for the survivors.
This is a single day event at Glyn Ceiriog. As previously the day will be split with a midday(ish) break allowing time for a brew & some food. UKSF teams will be restricted to NATO dpm's only. The OPFOR uniform restrictions are anything other than NATO dpm's which should make it easy.
There will be two NATO/UKSF teams. Team 1 (the survivors) will be 6 men only. Team 2 numbers will be unlimited at this time. Both teams will start at different locations.
The OPFOR numbers are also unlimited. No vehicles are required for this event.
Event start will be 0900hrs prompt with all required on site no later than 0830hrs for safety briefings etc. Finish time will be approx 1600hrs depending on light levels.
Cost is £20
50% deposits will be taken from the beginning of Feb via paypal at mail@iedairsoft.co.uk. Add 5% for Paypal fees. The balance will be paid on the day.
We won't be able to provide any pyro's for this event but their use is unrestricted as long as they are the usual over the counter UK stuff.
